About Us

The Fayette County EMS Association (FCEMSA) serves as the official countywide advisory board for Emergency Medical Services in Fayette County, Iowa, as required by state law. The Association includes all EMS agencies with designated service areas in the county, providing coordinated leadership and system oversight.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, FCEMSA is responsible for distributing Iowa Area 6 EMS grant funds to support training, equipment, and system improvements that strengthen emergency medical services across Fayette County.

Sorry to bother you...

Our local ambulances are in urgent need of help. Unlike police and fire, Iowa law does not automatically fund EMS. Between skyrocketing costs and unsustainable insurance payouts, a large portion of Fayette County is at risk of losing ambulance coverage by the end of the year if this measure fails. This November, Vote YES for EMS to keep an ambulance coming when your family calls 911. Can you chip in to help us get the word out? Every donation directly funds vital signs and community outreach before Election Day.
